Two Problems One Person (2P/1P)

2P/1P is a weekly adult (18 & over) support group for individuals with a dual diagnosis.  Dual diagnosis, or co-occurring disorders, are terms used to describe when a person has both a mental illness or mood disorder and a problem with substance abuse or addiction.  A person who has a dual diagnosis has two separate illnesses, and each illness has it’s own issues to address.

Our 2P/1P group provides a welcoming, confidential setting where individuals can feel comfortable to discussing issues of dual recovery and feel accepted and understood by others who have shared common experiences.  Created by NAMI of Lee, Charlotte & Hendry Counties.
